C & D Builders, Inc. (C&D) is a full service Design/Development and Construction Management firm. We currently provide various design and development consultation, project management consulting, and general contracting services. These include, construction cost estimating, scheduling, value engineering, and constructability review of design documents. We also assist owners in selecting architects and engineering firms, as well as negotiating their contracts.

Here at C&D, quality encompasses the entire building process; from land acquisition, required approvals, preconstruction through administration, building, close out and warranty. We are committed to superior workmanship, knowing that long after the work is done, our project must speak for itself.

C&D specializes in customizing its services to meet the individual needs of each project owner. Depending on the type of project (e.g. Commercial, Residential, Sub-division, New Construction, Basement Finish, etc.), C&D will outline the services to be provided in a manner in which the owner can feel confident that the project will be completed meeting their scheduling and financial goals. C&D's philosophy is simple: a successful collaboration between the owner, designer, general contractor, and sub-contractor is the key to a successful project.

Douglas (Doug) L. Bolejack
President

Doug has been in the construction industry for 30 years. He holds a Colorado class “B” license and a Supervisors Certificate, as well as, a California class “B” license. Doug is highly experienced in new commercial and residential construction, ranging from tenant finish, custom homes, and sub-divisions. His experience also includes land development, acquisition and design consulting. His expertise lies in project management, contract negotiations, scheduling, permits and code compliance, as well as, engineer and architect selection.

Charles (Chuck) S. Micale
Vice President/Chief Operating Officer

Chuck has over 18 years of operational management experience. His areas of expertise include budget administration, investor relations, project development, marketing, staff development and productivity, P & L responsibilities, as well as, strategic partnerships and customer service. While Vice President of an International retail chain he gained extensive experience in commercial real estate, site location, lease negotiation and construction supervision.

Ralph Colver
Accounting Manager

Ralph has over twenty five years experience in construction accounting, including both subcontractor and general contractor elements. he studied Accounting at Colorado State University. He possesses extensive experience in job cost, accounting and varied banking/equity investor pay application and banking requirements.

Sean Weed
Project Engineer

Sean has worked for various custom builders/development companies. He haas experience in marketing, estimating, job costing, plan take-offs, purchasing, budgets, permit submissions, price negotiations, and client submittals. He typically achieves 10% -40% less than current cost from the suppliers and subcontractors without sacrificing quality of scheduling. Sean's background provides the ability to review plans/take-offs, anticipate and resolve issues before they occur and keep schedules on track with timely communication and follow up for excellent supply chain management.

Devin Kerr
Site Superintendent

Devin has been in the construction industry for 22 years in both the residential and commercial fields. He received his Construction Management Degree from Colorado State University. He has a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Devin has 5 years experience in managing basement construction, half of that time for his own company.

RJ Zamparelli
Assistant Site Superintendent/Quality Assurance Manager

R.J. is a native of Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1972. R.J. retired after a successful 30-year career with the Department of Justice. He entered the private sector in 2001 in the construction and remodeling business. R.J. possesses general knowledge in all phases of construction remodeling.

Randy Freeman
Technical Specialist
Randy has over 30 years experience in electronics and controls,18 years experience in the construction industry in both commercial and residential fields. He has specialized experience in Controls, HVAC, Refrigeration, and Planned Maintenance Systems. He currently holds EPA Universal certification for Refrigeration, NATE Certification in Air Distribution, Air Conditioning, Air-to-Air Heat Pumps, And Gas Furnace. He has in the past held HVAC Contractor Licenses in Boulder, Douglas, and Summit Counties, Longmont, and Louisville. Randy also has a general knowledge in all phases of construction. He also served in the US Navy (Submarines) for 12 Years.
